1. Data Storage Model
38NIL operates on a **local-first** architecture. The overwhelming majority of your simulation data, including draft logs, current squads, and historical fixtures, is saved directly within your browser's local storage and index databases.
2. Manager Registration & Passkeys
When you create a manager account, we establish a Passkey credential using secure public-key cryptography (WebAuthn).
- No passwords are ever requested, stored, or transmitted to our servers.
- Your device processes bio-metrics (TouchID/FaceID) or device pins locally to authorize the key.
- We only store your chosen username and the credential public key to authenticate your login sessions.
3. Leaderboard Submissions
When you play and complete matches or campaign seasons, the game syncs your campaign record (Team name, Wins, Draws, Losses, Points, and Difficulty) to our database to build the global leaderboard.
Only authenticated manager usernames are listed publicly on the leaderboard.
4. Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to measure traffic, gameplay usage, and interface engagement (such as drafting selections, simulated game outcomes, and navigation events). This helps us analyze app health and improve the game.
Google Analytics uses cookies and device/browser identifiers to collect anonymous event data. You can control or opt out of Google Analytics cookies through your browser cookie controls or by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
5. Advertising Integration
To keep 38NIL free to play, we show interstitial and promotional ads on the platform. We integrate third-party ad networks to deliver these placements.
These advertising partners may set cookies, access device identifiers, record IP addresses, and process network/geolocation details to serve relative, personalized, or non-personalized advertisements. You can modify your ad consent settings at any time in your browser settings.
6. Data Deletion
You can wipe all locally stored draft campaigns at any time by clearing your browser's site data, using local reset options, or clicking "Delete Saved Draft" inside the campaign load panel. For database-side manager registrations or leaderboard removal requests, contact hello@38nil.com.
